Milling Operations

Tinkercad facilitates electronics simulation through a user-friendly virtual platform, enabling users to design and test circuits, experiment with components, and visualize real-time circuit behavior. Ideal for learners and hobbyists, it fosters hands-on understanding of electronics without physical prototyping.

Peripheral Milling

Peripheral milling is a machining process where the cutting action occurs primarily along the periphery or outer edge of the cutting tool. In this method, the cutting tool's outer surface removes material from the workpiece, creating the desired shape or surface finish. The cutting action can be in various directions—radial & axial as the tool rotates.

Slot Milling

Slot milling refers to the machining process used to create slots or grooves in a workpiece using a milling machine and a specifically designed cutting tool. The process involves cutting or removing material along a linear path to form slots of varying widths and depths on the surface of the workpiece.

Thread Milling

Thread milling is a machining process used to create threads—helical structures—inside a workpiece. It involves using a cutting tool with multiple teeth to produce threads in a rotational movement. The tool moves along a helical path, cutting the threads progressively into the material.

Contour Milling

Contour milling is a machining process used to create precise, curved, or contoured shapes on a workpiece using a milling machine. This method involves milling along the outline or contour of a part, following a specific path to achieve the desired shape.

Gear Milling

Gear milling is a machining process used to create gears or gear-like structures on a workpiece. It involves using a specialized cutting tool called a gear cutter or hob to remove material in a precise manner, shaping the teeth of the gear. It is widely used in industries that require precision gear components, such as automotive & aerospace.
